OUR STORY

theANEMIX®  is a lighting system that creates unique 3D effects in space. It´s developed by LUXIA, a chilean company composed by two young architects and lighting designers, Ximena Muñoz and Paulina Villalobos, together with industrial designer Monica Labra.

theANEMIX®  was first developed by Ximena during a Lighting Design Master at IED Milano (Istituto Europeo di Design). When she came back to Chile, on December 2006, she met Paulina and started working together in lighting design. On September 2006, they founded Diav and Luxia, two companies dedicated to lighting design. Diav is the one that developes architectural lighting design projects. Luxia is the company that creates and comercializes new lighting products, toghether with Juan Carlos Muñoz. Their first project was theANEMIX®.

Their mission is to create and give good lighting atmospheres. They think light as something ludic and that gives a new perception of architecture and space.

They believe in new tecnologies and low energy consumption because together they increase lighting qualities and low environmental impact.

Luxia also promotes good design and good quality products.

They´re launched theANEMIX® system during the Salone Satellite 2007 in Milano, Italia.
